Sconset "Sea Lights"

The salt air, wind and fog rolling over Sconset’s Bluff off the East side of Nantucket can be relentless, but in summer when the sun is shining there is no place the owners of this newly renovated cottage would rather be. Close to Sconset and Sankaty Golf Course, the goal of the renovation of this home was to maintain and enhance the classic Nantucket charm of yesterday, which helped establish the Island as New England’s epitome of summertime retreats. Converting the garage to a master suite, adding an office and updating kitchen and bathrooms gave the owners the updated features they needed while maintaining a sense of place.
